Case Summary
A 40-year-old lady presents 10 days post Varicose Vein Ligation with palpitations, shortness of breath, sudden collapse, word finding difficulty, which subsequently resolves. She has a past history of provoked DVT three years ago. Cerebral imaging reveals an acute, small temporal lobe embolic infarct with limited hemorrhagic change.
