With Covid-19 related travel restrictions forcing cancellation of the May 2020 Trainees Meeting arranged for Melbourne, a virtual trainees meeting for June 2020 has been arranged. In order to encourage integrated thinking, the structure of the program has been changed to cover basic, advanced and technical subjects related to one section of the curriculum: Coronary Surgery. This approach means that trainees of all levels will benefit from an integrated context for their learning related to this section of the curriculum.

Trainees will be asked to submit a technical task prior to the meeting for feedback and discussion. Those preparing for the fellowship exam will have an opportunity for an online written exam in addition to virtual vivas

Detailed time schedules will be released closer to the date as virtual conferencing across four time zones is finalised.
