9, 10, 11 April 2021. This meeting was planned to be in person in Melbourne, at the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons. However, the Covid related lockdown in Queensland and resulting travel restrictions and uncertainty have resulted in the meeting format being changed to online only.

The sections of the syllabus to be covered are the Aortic Valve, Pleural Disease and Mediastinal Disease. The format will involve lectures from specialists. A wetlab was planned but cancelled because of the move to online only. Trial Short Case Vivas will be arranged.

The inaugral Robert Xu Award will be award to the best performing SET 1, 2 of 3 trainee at the meeting, as judged by a short case preparation task, using a combination of trainee feedback and faculty feedback.
